Bahama Firebush  Hamelia cuprea

If you want yellow to get involved in the design, then you've got to add Bahama firebush.  Similar in growth to the scarlet-flowered one, you can keep it trimmed below seven feet.

Large leaves make the bahama firebush good for screening.  Don't hedge it; trim it naturally, and it will flower much more.

Pollinator-friendly flowers during the rainy season.
