Increasingly rare plant that used to be found crawling along sunny rocky
ledges throughout the open pinelands of the three southernmost counties in
Florida.
Its delightful flowers (about 1" across) are found
throughout the year, making it a charmingly photogenic subject anytime it's
not too dark out.
A non-aggressive vine in the Morning Glory family, it can be
used in a variety of landscape situations, such as in a pot in a sunny
corner of the patio, or trained along a chain-link fence or similar
structure, anyplace which adequately displays its tendency to reach for the
sun.
To have it in your yard is to invite a variety of
nectar-seekers (including, but not limited to, bees, which are the least
camera-shy of the visitors).
We have some nice ones available in 2- and 3-gal.
containers.
